The Pacific Rim Forum is acknowledged
as the region's most important non-aligned platform for the commercial,
political and opinion leaders of the Asia Pacific region. Its specific
focus is upon the emerging issues and trends of strategic corporate
significance for the major international and regional companies
operating in and around the world's fastest growing region.
Pacific Rim Forums are held at significant locations
in the world, the most recent being in October 2000
in Sydney, Australia immediately following the Closing Ceremony
of the 2000 Cross-Millennium Olympic Games and our Special China
Roundtable held in September 2003 in Beijing,
the
first major international event in Beijing with China’s new
leadership team

to extend a special invitation for you to attend our Second Pacific
Rim Forum
Science-Based Innovation, Life Sciences and Technology Summit
from September 11 to 13, 2005.
This
Summit is an integral part of a series of planned events in China leading up to and
including the Olympic Games in 2008. Other planned events are:
2005 Pacific Rim Forum - September/October 2005 (Chongqing);
2006 Science-Based Innovation, Life Sciences and Technology
Summit (Shanghai), 2008 Pacific Rim Forum - to be held
during the Olympic Games in Beijing.
